MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota: The Minnesota Vikings will play two international games in 2025 — one in Ireland and one in the UK — as the NFL schedules a record seven games overseas next season, including games in Germany and Spain.
The Vikings will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Dublin at Croke Park on September 28, marking the first NFL regular-season game ever played in Ireland. A week later, on October 5, the Vikings will travel to London to play the Cleveland Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
"This is a unique chance we didn't want to miss," said Vikings owner Mark Wilf. "We've had great experiences in London, and now we get to make history playing back-to-back international games in two countries."
The Vikings have won all eight of their international games, including four in the regular season. The last time the Vikings played the Browns was also in London, back in 2017. Interestingly, the Vikings aren't scheduled to play in Cleveland again until 2033, marking a 24-year gap between visits.
The NFL announced these matchups this week as part of a series of game reveals leading up to the full 2025 schedule release.
The NFL will also announce who the Los Angeles Chargers will face in Brazil on September 5. That game will kick off the international season at Corinthians Stadium in São Paulo. It will be streamed for free worldwide on YouTube and YouTube TV — the platform's first time broadcasting a live NFL game. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and YouTube's Chief Business Officer Mary Ellen Coe will make the announcement during a special event in New York.
YouTube also signed a multi-year deal to host the annual Super Bowl flag football game, featuring content creators and celebrities, following a successful debut in February that drew over six million live viewers.
Other international NFL games in 2025 include:
The Jaguars will play their 14th game in London — part of a long-term agreement with the UK. Overall, 39 NFL regular-season games have been played in London.
All six international games will air on NFL Network and stream on NFL+.
The Colts-Falcons game in Berlin will be the NFL's fifth regular-season game in Germany, following past games in Munich and Frankfurt.
NFL executive Peter O'Reilly stated that this international schedule demonstrates the league's commitment to expanding the sport globally.
This week, the NFL also revealed on "Good Morning America" that the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles will play the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football on November 10. That game will take place at Lambeau Field and will feature the two teams at the center of a current rules debate. The Packers want the league to ban the Eagles' "tush push" play — a type of quarterback sneak where teammates push the QB from behind. The NFL will discuss the rule at its spring meeting next week.
